We are currently hiring a Frontend Developer to join our I&E HUB in Lisbon.

MAN Rolling Fleet ensures stable, reliable, and high-performing vehicle services that our customers depend on every day. Through robust OTA capabilities, continuous monitoring, and operational excellence, we safeguard seamless service delivery, such as software updates, vehicle health monitoring, or vehicle parametrization. With stability and customer impact at the forefront, we focus on operational resilience, scalability, and continuous improvement. Our mission is to protect business continuity,
strengthen brand trust, and maximize the value delivered to vehicles throughout their lifecycle.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Work within the automotive IoT domain to create, test, deploy, and operate (DevOps) frontend solutions, web-based tools, and customer-facing interfaces using modern cloud infrastructure
• Develop new features and maintain our React-based frontend with a strong focus on quality, modularity, and long-term maintainability
• Take ownership of your products and collaborate closely with design and architecture teams
• Proactively propose technical and visual solutions to product challenges, ensuring intuitive and consistent user interfaces
• Maintain and continuously improve our frontend repository, including shared components, project structure, and coding conventions
• Integrate REST APIs and collaborate closely with backend developers
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
• Advise your team and other teams on frontend development topics within an automotive IoT environment
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of services, tooling, and development processes

What requirements are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or comparable job expertise;
• At least 3 years of professional experience;
• Solid experience with Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles as well as common software design patterns. Emphasis on quality, maintainability and usability;
• Solid frontend development experience with Frontend development with focus on REST APIs and knowledge of wireframe and UI concept design;
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, SASS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Typescript and JSON as well as how to connect web services considering the REST paradigm;
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks, preferably React;
• Experience in the technical implementation of solutions under consideration of MVVM/MVC design pattern;
• Experience with CI/CD;
• Agile and DevOps mindset;
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken;
