📄 JOB DESCRIPTION  

Today we're looking for a Python developer to join our Payments team in VeepeeTech.

At Veepee, our Payments team ensures the secure and efficient processing of millions of transactions, while maintaining PCI DSS compliance and adapting to new regulations like WERO. We seek an expert with experience in Python backend development and if possible in financial system. You will help key projects such as merging business order pipelines, but also optimize performance, ensure security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Join us to work on impactful projects with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic and flexible environment.

🎯 TASKS

Develop new and redesign existing features of our products;

Suggest on interfaces and other possible improvements that might be done;

Write technical documentation;

Keep the code clean and review your team members’ designs if needed;

Ensure the reliability and scalability of developed applications;

Respect the production deadlines;

Review the legacy code in order to avoid the production bugs.

👉 MUST HAVE skills

4+ years of experience in software development;

Hands-on experience with Python.

Proficiency with SQL databases;

Familiar with VMWare and Debian operating systems;

Experience in building APIs or other web services;

Quality-code oriented with unit and integration tests;

Agile working environment with open-source technologies;

Autonomous and open minded;

Professional English level.

👉 NICE TO HAVE skills

Experience in PCI DSS environment or payment/banking system;

Experience in high demanding platform, resiliency and production availability;

Experience with Rabbitmq, Haproxy and PGsql;

Experience with metrics over Prometheus
