We are looking for a Digital Technology Lead Quality - Solution Architect who is collaborative, solution-oriented and accountable to join our Digital Technology team, based in Braine l’Alleud, Belgium.
About the role
As a DT Lead Quality - Solution Architect, you will take technical ownership of systems and services supporting our global Quality Assurance organization. You will manage digital solutions such as Veeva Vault Quality modules throughout their full lifecycle, ensuring they remain available, secure, scalable and compliant. You will help shape solution design, configuration, integrations and future platform developments while coordinating projects, system changes and operational activities. This is a hands-on role combining solution architecture, system ownership, project delivery and stakeholder partnership.
Who you’ll work with
You will be working in a global, cross-functional environment bringing together Quality Assurance, business process, data and Digital Technology expertise. You will collaborate closely with functional system owners, data owners, process owners, domain leads and integration specialists. You will also act as an important technical contact for Veeva and other external service providers. Together, you will ensure that solutions meet business needs, follow architectural standards and remain compliant with pharmaceutical quality, data integrity and cybersecurity requirements.
What you’ll do
- Take technical ownership of Veeva Vault Quality systems throughout their lifecycle, including design, configuration, integration, maintenance, performance and sustainability
- Translate Quality Assurance needs into scalable, effective and cost-efficient technology solutions aligned with business priorities, architectural principles and regulatory requirements
- Lead the delivery of projects, platform enhancements and system changes, managing scope, timelines, risks, resources, external partners and allocated budgets
- Ensure systems remain validated, secure, inspection-ready and compliant with pharmaceutical quality requirements, data integrity standards and cybersecurity controls
- Coordinate system administration and oversee incident, change and problem management, proactively addressing risks that could affect service quality or delivery
- Partner with Veeva and internal specialists to evaluate platform capabilities, develop solutions and support continuous improvement across different Vault Quality modules
- Maintain clear delivery plans and progress updates, and contribute to communication, training materials and the onboarding of users and stakeholders
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in technology, science, engineering or another relevant field, combined with a strong interest in evolving technologies
- Professional experience and practical expertise working with Veeva Vault, ideally including solutions supporting Quality Assurance or other regulated business activities would be an advantage
- Experience delivering projects within a digital or technology environment, with the ability to manage priorities, timelines, costs and risks would be an advantage
- Experience with computerized system validation would be an advantage
- Understanding of solution design, system configuration, integrations, validation, data integrity, cybersecurity and the operation of regulated technology systems
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to connect business requirements, technical possibilities and regulatory expectations
- Fluency in English, together with an autonomous, adaptable and hands-on approach to problem-solving, collaboration and continuous improvement
