Job Mission 🚀

As our Senior Fullstack Engineer for Installer App & Experience, you'll build and maintain the tools that make it possible for installers to do their job, and do it well. The installer app is the interface between Tibber's platform and the people who physically set up smart devices in customers' homes, and it's a product area with real room to grow!

This is a role for someone who brings both technical depth and a natural instinct for helping a team move in the right direction.

What you'll do ✅

You'll be the go-to engineer for the installer app and its related services - building new features, maintaining what's there, and helping shape how the product area develops. AI is a natural part of how you work, and you'll use it to move faster, reduce manual overhead, and contribute to building agentic solutions that make the installer experience better.

In practice, this means:

• Building and maintaining the installer app and related backend services
  

• Collaborating closely with designers, PMs, and engineers across the org to ship features end-to-end
  

• Running agentic dev loops - turning requirements into merged PRs through AI agents you direct and review
  

• Contributing to technical direction and ways of working as the team around installer experience grows

What we're looking for⚡

You're a fullstack engineer with solid experience who is energized by switching context and doesn't shy away from complexity. You take initiative, communicate clearly, and bring both technical depth and a collaborative mindset.

We think you'll thrive here if you:

• Have a strong JS/TS foundation with solid backend experience in Node/Express or similar, and are comfortable with modern frontend frameworks -React, Next.js, and ideally React Native + Expo
  

• Have experience with event-driven systems and understand your way around AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and related tooling
  

• Are hands-on with modern AI tools and platforms , AWS Bedrock, Claude, or similar — with real experience running agentic dev loops and using AI as a natural part of how you build
  

• Have worked closely with designers and are comfortable making design decisions within a defined framework
  

• Are a genuine team player who prioritizes outcomes over individual credit, communicates openly, and stays curious in the face of ambiguity
