About Us

STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionizing the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop and manufacture high performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost effective. This provides our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments.

We’re focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems - not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe - today.

Your mission

As a Cloud Engineer, you will focus on transforming service requests into production-ready, scalable environments. By utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), you ensure every deployment is executed with precision, security, and thorough documentation.

Your work will directly impact the reliability and scalability of our embedded autonomy infrastructure deployed across air, land, and sea systems.

  • Build and maintain Terraform modules to ensure consistent state management and streamlined deployments.

  • Configure and install services with a strong emphasis on security protocols.

  • Monitor cloud provider activities to ensure cost-efficiency and compliance with security standards.

  • Produce detailed "How-to" guides for new services to enable developer self-service.

  • Strong practical knowledge of GCP is preferred; AWS or Azure experts willing to transition are welcome. Experience with hybrid or on-prem systems is a plus.

  • Advanced proficiency in Terraform.

  • Skilled in Kubernetes (k8s / GKE) and GitOps frameworks like Flux or Kustomize.

  • A commitment to supporting technical teams through well-architected infrastructure.
