We’re looking for an SDN Network Engineer to help develop, maintain, and optimise the cloud networking stack for a large‑scale, sovereign cloud platform.
You’ll work across Linux networking, automation, and open‑source SDN components to ensure a secure, scalable, and highly available environment.
Freelance cooperation
Start date: ASAP/01.07.2026
Duration: until 31.10.2026, with the possibility of extension for an additional 6-12 months
Key requirements:
• Production experience with OVS / OVN
• Strong cloud networking skills: VPC, NAT, VPN, BGP, VXLAN, LB, DNS
• Solid understanding of Linux networking (namespaces, iptables, tc, kernel)
• Experience with OpenStack Neutron
• Programming in C/C++, Go, Python, or Bash
• Familiarity with Kubernetes networking & CNI (e.g., Calico)
• DPDK experience is a plus
• Good command of English
Nice to have:
Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow
Main responsibilities:
Design and operate the software-defined networking layer for cloud infrastructure.
