About the job

We are looking for a talented Growth Engineer to join our Growth Squad and help shape how Spendesk acquires and converts customers. You'll be part of a small, cross-functional team of engineers and marketers working at the intersection of web development, experimentation, and performance, building directly on the surfaces that drive Spendesk's growth.

This is a role for someone at the start of their engineering career who wants to grow fast. You will not be maintaining things in a queue. You will be building landing pages, running A/B experiments, owning tracking, and contributing to agentic AI workflows across marketing and GTM, a capability we are actively developing and that most teams are only just beginning to think about.

You will report to a Senior Growth Engineer who is invested in your development, and work closely with the marketing team to understand campaigns, experiments, and what the data actually means.
One thing worth being clear about: AI tools are not optional here. We expect everyone in the squad to use them every day, not as a crutch, but as a genuine multiplier. Prompting well, validating outputs, and owning the code you ship is a core part of how we work.

Our stack

  • Frontend:Nuxt.js, Vue.js, TypeScript

  • CMS:Storyblok

  • Experimentation:Amplitude Experiment

  • Analytics:Amplitude, Google Analytics, Google Search Console

  • Tracking:Segment

  • CRM / Marketing Ops:HubSpot, Salesforce

  • Deployment:Netlify

  • AI Dev Tools:Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Dust, Claude Code

  • Project Management:Linear, Notion

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain pages and components on the Spendesk and CFO Connect websites using Nuxt.js and Storyblok, including landing pages, blog, and product pages

  • Implement A/B tests and UX variants in collaboration with the Senior Growth Engineer and marketing team, and start reading experiment results to translate them into concrete site improvements

  • Apply SEO best practices on every page you build: metadata, structured data, semantic HTML, done properly from the start

  • Monitor Core Web Vitals on pages you own and surface regressions before they become problems

  • Implement tracking events and funnels via Segment on every feature you ship, and verify data accuracy in Amplitude and Google Analytics

  • Contribute to the development of agentic AI workflows across marketing and GTM alongside the team

  • Participate in code review as a genuine learning opportunity, and write clean, readable code that others can work with

  • Use AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) as first-line tools for writing boilerplate, debugging, and understanding patterns faster

What we're looking for

  • Fluency in written and spoken English (our business language)

  • Up to two years of front-end development experience, from an internship, apprenticeship, bootcamp, or your own projects. What you have built matters more than where

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3

  • Basic understanding of Vue.js or any modern component-based framework such as React or Svelte

  • Genuine comfort using AI tools (Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT or similar) as part of your actual daily workflow

  • Curiosity about web performance, user experience, and how your work connects to business outcomes

  • Strong attention to detail: the kind that means you notice something is off and fix it rather than leave it

  • Bonus: exposure to Nuxt.js, a headless CMS (Storyblok, Cont
