WHAT MAKES US, US

Join some of the most innovative thinkers in FinTech as we lead the evolution of financial technology. If you are an innovative, curious, collaborative person who embraces challenges and wants to grow, learn and pursue outcomes with our prestigious financial clients, say Hello to SimCorp!

At its foundation, SimCorp is guided by our values — caring, customer success-driven, collaborative, curious, and courageous. Our people-centered organization focuses on skills development, relationship building, and client success. We take pride in cultivating an environment where all team members can grow, feel heard, valued, and empowered.

If you like what we’re saying, keep reading!

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

SimCorp is developing a new state‑of‑the‑art Software‑as‑a‑Service solution that allows our clients to interact with and analyze their investments in a modern web application connected to a high‑performance calculation engine – enabling users to do in minutes what used to take hours.

The Performance solution will ultimately be a part of a larger eco system that allows users to work in different SimCorp applications from a common, unified application with a next generation of user experience.

Role focus (what “full stack” means here)

This is a frontend/full‑stack role with a clear frontend focus (approx. 70/30). You’ll build Angular UI and contribute to our C#/.NET API/middleware that supports the web application.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Develop and maintain the product, SimCorp One Performance, in collaboration with product owners, teams building the calculation engine/services, and end-users.

  • Contribute to the entire development process – from analysis of requirements and refinements of features to implementation, test automation, documentation, and continued support.

  • Ensure a coherent user experience in close collaboration with designers and product owners.

  • Contribute across the stack: deliver frontend features in Angular and implement/support backend capabilities in C#/.NET where needed.

  • Investigate and implement best practices for code quality in a trunk‑based CI/CD context (testing, maintainability, performance, and reliability).

  • Learn who our users are, what their pains are, and what business value we deliver — and reflect that in technical decisions.

  • Lead by example through code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentoring others.

What will you work with?

  • Angular (TypeScript)

  • C# .NET (latest versions)

  • Code design and architecture

  • Git (Azure DevOps) with CI/CD

  • Azure (Infrastructure as Code)

WHAT WE VALUE

Must‑have

  • Strong experience building modern web applications with Angular and TypeScript.

  • Solid knowledge of C#, .NET Core/Framework, and object-oriented design principles.

  • Experience integrating with APIs and contributing beyond the UI when needed (e.g., building/maintaining .NET services or similar backend work).

  • You value automated testing of business‑critical functionality.

  • You solve complex problems in a structured manner and communicate well with both programmers and non‑programmers.

  • Willingness to dive into a complex domain, working with finance, investment performance & attribution and investment-related instruments.

Nice‑to‑have

  • Azure, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code experience.

  • You have a Master’s degree or higher within Computer Sciences, Engineering, Finance, Physics, Mathematics, Economics or similar experience.

  • If you have knowledge of a financial domain it is plus, otherwise we will bring you up to speed using technical discussions, training and a comprehensive onboarding program.
