Platform Data Engineer at PVcase responsible for architecting, optimizing, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
Architect, optimize, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, and cloud data warehouses to support both internal analytics and external, client-facing data products.
Write clean transformation logic using tools like dbt and manage robust workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow), taking ownership of system monitoring, performance tuning, and incident resolution.
Maintain and evolve AWS-based messaging infrastructure (queues, schemas, event streams) to ensure reliable, high-throughput, and low-latency data ingestion across systems.
Design secure, performant, and well-documented data entry/consumption points (such as S3 interfaces) that empower product teams to build data-as-a-product features.
Support scalable deployment using Terraform (Infrastructure-as-Code) while maintaining least-privilege AWS IAM access, data lineage, data contracts, and cataloging.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and analysts to turn complex business needs into reusable, self-serve platform solutions.
Participate in code reviews, document data architectures and workflows, and help elevate engineering best practices across the team.
