YOUR MISSION

  • Lead complex tooling solutions and define technical priorities across multiple Teamsport projects
  • Drive optimization of processes, workflows, and tooling standards across categories and supplier base
  • Act as key technical partner to Development, Design, and cross-functional teams, ensuring feasibility and engineering excellence
  • Coach and mentor engineers on tooling methods, CAD/blueprint quality, problem-solving, and best practices
  • Lead advanced root cause analyses and implement preventive solutions for future tooling cycles
  • Assess, develop, and elevate supplier and mold maker capabilities and tooling quality
  • Introduce and scale new materials, compounds, processes, and technologies across Teamsport categories
  • Represent tooling in planning rounds, cross-category reviews, and early design feasibility discussions
  • Oversee complex sample trials and approve high-impact tooling changes and risk mitigation actions
  • Benchmark competitor products and translate insights into engineering and construction improvements
  • Domestic and international travel required (approx. 20%).

YOUR TALENT

  • University degree in Engineering, Footwear Technology, or related field
  • Extensive experience in footwear product engineering, especially in tooling and bottom unit development
  • Strong expertise in materials, compounds, injection tooling, and manufacturing processes
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and drive innovation
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and structured analytical thinking
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to influence decisions across stakeholders
  • Experience with innovation, sustainability, and supplier development is a strong plus
  • Fluent in English; German and/or Mandarin is a plus
  • Willingness to travel internationally.​
