Responsibilities Tremend is looking for a Quality Engineering Specialist who combines strong technical expertise with a leadership mindset and solid experience in trading, treasury, commodities, or capital markets systems. You will remain hands-on in Python-based automation while defining quality strategies, leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and improving QE practices across complex front-to-back trading platforms. Relevant systems may include Openlink Endur, Orchestrade, or comparable ETRM, CTRM, treasury, risk management, or capital markets platforms. Responsibilites Define and lead Quality Engineering strategies for trading and capital markets solutions. Design and implement scalable automated testing frameworks using Python. Lead end-to-end validation across Web, API, backend, database, messaging, and batch-processing layers. Define risk-based testing approaches for trade capture, lifecycle events, pricing, valuation, P&L, positions, risk, settlements, accounting, and reporting. Validate integrations between trading platforms, market data providers, risk systems, settlement systems, accounting platforms, and downstream services. Establish automated data validation and reconciliation across front-office, middle-office, and back-office systems. Improve testability, observability, failure diagnostics, quality gates, and CI/CD integration. Apply AI-assisted engineering approaches to improve test design, automation development, defect analysis, and delivery productivity. Provide technical direction, communicate quality risks to stakeholders, and support release-readiness decisions. Mentor Quality Engineers and promote strong automation, domain knowledge, and engineering ownership. Skills and Experience 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering. Experience operating as a Quality Engineering Manager, Test Manager, QE Lead, Principal QE, or in a comparable leadership role. Hands-on Python experience for test automation, API validation, data processing, and framework development. Experience testing trading, treasury, commodities, energy trading, investment banking, or capital markets systems. Experience with platforms such as Openlink Endur, Orchestrade, or comparable ETRM, CTRM, treasury, order management, risk management, or capital markets systems. Experience validating trade capture, amendments, cancellations, pricing, valuation, P&L, positions, exposures, settlements, and reporting. Strong experience with REST APIs, SQL, backend services, distributed systems, and complex integrations. Experience testing asynchronous processing, event-driven architectures, messaging systems, scheduled jobs, or end-of-day workflows. Experience designing maintainable automation frameworks and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools for test generation, automation, investigation, or quality analysis. Strong knowledge of risk-based testing, reconciliation, defect prevention, release readiness, and production-risk analysis.
