Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Engineering Specialist who combines strong hands-on technical expertise with the ability to improve quality practices across engineering teams. This role is suited to someone who goes beyond test execution and actively contributes to automation architecture, testing strategy, CI/CD integration, and modern software delivery practices. You will work closely with engineers, DevOps, product teams, and delivery leaders to improve delivery speed, reliability, and release confidence through scalable automation and effective Quality Engineering practices. About the Role As a Quality Engineering Specialist, you will help define and implement quality strategies while remaining actively involved in technical delivery. You will design and improve automation solutions, strengthen testing practices across the SDLC, support engineering teams in identifying risks early, and help ensure that quality feedback is fast, reliable, and actionable. Responsibilities Design, review, and improve automation frameworks and reusable testing assets Develop and maintain automated tests across API, UI, integration, and end-to-end layers Integrate automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines Promote modern testing practices such as shift-left, risk-based testing, API-first testing, and appropriate test-layer distribution Define meaningful quality metrics and release evidence Mentor and support engineers and Quality Engineers in improving testing and automation practices Contribute to technical discussions, workshops, and solution design when required Explore and support the adoption of AI-assisted engineering and testing practices Skills & Experience Relevant experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, SDET, or similar roles Strong hands-on experience designing, building, or significantly improving automation frameworks Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Python, or C# Strong experience with API and UI test automation Practical experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines Good understanding of modern testing principles, including shift-left testing, risk-based testing, and quality ownership Experience mentoring other engineers or influencing Quality Engineering practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills Pragmatic mindset focused on balancing quality, delivery speed, maintainability, and business impact Experience with AI-assisted software development, AI-enabled testing, coding agents, or LLM-based workflows Nice to Have Experience with contract testing Experience using observability platforms, logs, metrics, or production telemetry for troubleshooting Exposure to performance, security, accessibility, or other non-functional testing Experience participating in client workshops, technical assessments, or solution proposals Additional information Besides an exciting job in a tremendous team, here's what you can expect: A fast-paced tech environment Continuous growth & learning Open feedback culture Room for own initiative & ideas Transparency about results & strategy Recognition & reward for hard work Working with a flexible schedule Medical subscription Meal tickets Extra vacation days - starting with 25 vacation days Many others perks
