Senior DevOps Engineer

Join us in this role where you’ll be enabling Ørsted’s commodity trading activities by developing, optimizing, and automating the analytics infrastructure and workflows for analytics-focused teams. You’ll work with analysts and quantitative developers to ensure analytics capabilities and workflows are robust and automated, allowing users to focus on analytics while you manage infrastructure, analytics platform capabilities and enabling tooling.

 

Welcome to Ørsted Digital Technology (DT) and Commercial DT while your employment will be anchored in IT, your daily work will be as part of the Algo, Analytics, Trade Execution team, which develops and operates the data & analytics platform to support Analysts, Data Scientists, and Traders from Trading & Revenue business area. Together with your colleagues in Denmark, Poland and Malaysia, you will enable the trading floor with technical expertise on fast and secure provisioning of analytics platform capabilities based on highest standards.

You’ll play an important role in:

• working with cloud and Kubernetes to keep our Analytics Platform reliable, secure, and high performing
• building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment, so our analytics teams can deliver faster
• setting up and tuning monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) to keep our systems healthy and efficient
• developing robust and secure Python integrations and automated package maintenance provided best practices
• providing Analytics platform capabilities enabling Machine Learning, Algo Trading and Generative AI.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

• are motivated by working in an energetic and dynamic trading environment enabling analytics activities and Python users
• use your Python skills to automate and improve analytics infrastructure and platforms while assisting quants and analysts with innovative ideas
• apply your experience with DevOps, CI/CD, cloud solutions and Analytics technologies to streamline analytics workflows, and help decrease the time from idea to benefit realization for models, analytics insights, tools, dashboards and algos
• work hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, Github, Airflow and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
• experience or an interest with Jupyter Hub, Machine Learning, Algo Trading and/ or Generative AI capabilities.

Position salary range: 

For this position, the expected base pay range is 22,725 - 34,088 zł  for the advertised location. The offered base salary will be determined within this range based on relevant skills, experience, and expected role fulfilment within the stated pay range to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package.
