Shape the Future of Trusted Security at NXP
 

As a Secure Software Architect TPM you will be joining a team that is developing next-generation embedded software products for a wide range of security applications.

This is an opportunity for an experienced software architect and technical leader to define and drive the architecture and implementation of a Trusted Platform Module solution. You will be able to shape security architectures and bridge customer needs, industry standards, and cutting-edge technology to create highly secure, scalable, and certifiable software solutions used worldwide.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Translate customer requirements and use cases, standards, and system constraints into clear software architecture designs and implementation concepts.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, including TPM 2.0, Trusted Computing Group specifications, and relevant security certification requirements.

  • Design and develop secure embedded software for Trusted Platform Module applications, with a strong focus on quality, robustness, and long-term maintainability.

  • Provide technical guidance to development teams, including architecture decisions, design reviews, and code reviews.

  • Monitor software quality, relevant KPIs, and development progress, and drive actions to achieve agreed targets.

  • Collaborate closely with system, SOC, and test architects throughout the concept phase and project execution to ensure technical alignment.
     

Your Profile:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a comparable field.

  • At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in embedded software development, software architecture, or secure product development.

  • Hands-on experience in embedded software development and working with complex software stacks and secure software update mechanisms.

  • Knowledge of Trusted Platform Module and TPM Software Stack specifications is desirable.

  • Experience with Java Card operating systems or similar secure execution environments is an advantage.

  • Experience with Common Criteria, AVA_VAN attack-resistance evaluation, FIPS 140, TCG certification, or comparable security certification schemes is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with ARM, RISC-V or other processor architectures is an advantage.

  • Good understanding of cryptographic algorithms, secure key and certificate handling, secure boot, attestation, and secure software design principles.

  • Proven ability to technically lead, guide, and align multi-site software development teams.

  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
