Location

We are looking for a .NET Software Engineer, based in Sofia, Bulgaria (hybrid mode of working).

Role Summary

As a .NET Software Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining, modernizing, and evolving critical components of the XProtect platform.

In this role, you'll solve complex technical challenges, collaborate with experienced engineers, and create solutions that directly impact thousands of customers worldwide.

What You Will Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain software components using C# and .NET. 
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across a large-scale enterprise platform. 
• Develop automation, tooling, and product improvements that enhance reliability and maintainability. 
• Collaborate with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Customer Support, and other engineering teams. 
• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and long-term solution design. 
• Contribute to product enhancements, modernization efforts, and technical debt reduction. 
• Support product releases and customer-facing engineering initiatives. 
• Share knowledge and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

What You Bring to The Team:

• At least 3 years of experience developing software using C# and .NET. 
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles. 
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex systems. 
• Knowledge of REST APIs, distributed systems, and Windows-based applications. 
• Experience working with source control and CI/CD pipelines. 
• Experience with enterprise-scale software products. 
• Knowledge of SQL Server and database development.
