Using advanced metals chemistry, you’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life‑saving technologies - by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.

The role:

As a Security Engineer you will help drive our goals by:

  • Analyse alerts, events, and threat intelligence from a wide range of security tools.

  • Deliver expert investigation and response to complex security incidents.

  • Help ensure efficient and effective SOC detection and response cycles

  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in tooling and process efficiency and resilience.

  • Build or enhance detection use cases, dashboards, reporting, and health monitoring.

  • Support automation efforts to scale security operations.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

  • Experience in working with SIEM & SOAR Platforms, endpoint security and network security technologies

  • Strong understanding of cyber-security technologies and threat detection.

  • Ability to analyse logs, events, and security telemetry.

  • Experience supporting incident response activities.

  • Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GSEC, or vendor-specific security accreditations.

  • Familiarity with scripting, automation e.g., (low-code, PowerShell, Python) and API integrations.
