As an Embedded Firmware Engineer in the Power Systems product line, you will update the embedded software for our existing satellite power systems. You will be responsible for modernization of firmware on MSP430 microcontrollers, covering drivers, communication, safety logic, and application code.
Specific tasks and responsibilities include:
Maintain and improve embedded software for legacy products, including implementing updates, resolving defects and refactoring existing code.
Review, structure and document existing code and software architectures to ensure long-term maintainability and knowledge transfer.
Investigate technical issues and provide software-related support to customers when required.
