Scope of Services:
- Responsible for your squad’s area of the platform, including core services, APIs, and third-party integrations that enable customer money transfers.
- Shape the technical vision for the squad and actively contribute to engineering efforts, including system architecture, API development, complex implementation work, design discussions, code quality standards, and incident management.
- Partner closely with the Product Manager to plan and deliver roadmap initiatives, shape sprint priorities, manage timelines, and ensure successful releases.
- Champion the effective use of AI-powered development tools by demonstrating best practices, integrating them throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
Services Experience:
- 6–10+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production-grade software systems.
- Strong backend development skills, preferably in C#/.NET; equivalent experience with object-oriented languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Go is also valued.
- Practical frontend development experience with frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or similar technologies.
- Solid background in system architecture, particularly distributed systems and service-oriented or microservices-based environments.
- Experience working within payments, foreign exchange, financial services, or other regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational database design principles.
- Hands-on AWS experience, including services such as SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, and Lambda, along with ownership of CI/CD processes and release management using tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Regular use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) across the SDLC.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
