Are you a cloud infrastructure expert ready for your next challenge? Join our team as a Senior AWS Network Engineer and help implement secure, scalable and simplified AWS network environments. You will join a 6-month transformation initiative focused on simplifying an AWS network environment, improving security, maintainability and scalability. The project involves designing a streamlined architecture with a reduced number of subnets and controlled connectivity, followed by a phased migration of services.
Scope of Services:
Configure and implement AWS network components, including VPCs, subnets, routing and security groups, based on the architecture defined by the Solution Architect
Support the phased migration of services to the new network structure, ensuring connectivity, stability and minimal disruption
Analyze, refactor and optimize existing network configurations to reduce complexity and improve security posture
Validate network changes through connectivity testing, traffic verification and troubleshooting across services and environments
Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams to support migration, troubleshooting and handover activities
Services Experience:
5+ years of professional experience in Network Engineering or a similar networking-focused infrastructure role
Strong experience with AWS networking components - AWS Certified Advanced Networking is a plus
Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting distributed cloud network environments
Experience working with legacy network setups and supporting transformation initiatives
Good understanding of network security principles and access control
Experience supporting service migrations between environments
Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform, and its role in network provisioning
Experience working with CI/CD environments such as Jenkins or Concourse
Familiarity with container-based and serverless environments, such as ECS and Lambda
Strong English communication skills
