The expected salary for this position: 15 000 - 22 000 PLN gross.

The financial ranges specified in the announcement are adjusted and may differ from the range specified in the remuneration regulations.

Your Day-to-Day:  

  • Build and evolve user-facing applications that provide sustainability insights, portfolio steering capabilities and emissions-related decision support. 

  • Develop backend services, APIs and integrations that enable the collection, processing and delivery of sustainability-related data. 

  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Engineers and business stakeholders to transform complex sustainability requirements into scalable digital products.  

  • Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions, ensuring solutions remain scalable, maintainable and aligned with long-term product goals. 

  • Support the evolution of the web application landscape as the platform expands across business domains and sustainability sectors. 

  • Implement automated testing, monitoring and continuous delivery practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.  

  • Improve engineering standards, reduce technical debt and continuously enhance platform reliability and maintainability. 

  • Work with data-intensive solutions, visualizations and business workflows that help users understand sustainability performance and climate-transition metrics. 

  • Mentor colleagues, share knowledge and contribute to raising the engineering maturity of the team.  

  • Actively challenge existing solutions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement across products, processes and technology. 

 

 

Who are we looking for? 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline (required). 

  • Master's degree in a related field is considered a strong advantage.

  • Experience with relational databases and data-driven applications. 

  • Experience implementing automated testing strategies and quality assurance practices. 

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery methodologies. 

  • Experience working in Agile and multidisciplinary teams. 

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills. 

  • Ability to take ownership of complex topics from discovery through implementation and operational support. 

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and positively influence technical decisions. 

 

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience with cloud-native architectures, containerisation and Kubernetes-based platforms. 

  • Experience working with data-intensive products, analytics platforms or reporting solutions. 

  • Experience building products involving sustainability, ESG, climate or regulatory domains. 

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar engineering toolchains. 

  • Experience contributing to technical roadmaps, architecture evolution and platform strategy. 

  • Understanding of data engineering concepts, data pipelines and large-scale data processing. 

  • Experience working within large, international organisations and cross-border teams.
