A great place to work. A team that supports you. Real learning opportunities. Flexibility that actually means something. If that sounds like the kind of environment where you can thrive, you might be the Data Engineer we’re looking for.

At GN, we believe that data is a key enabler of innovation and better decision-making. As a Data Engineer, you will play an important role in building and maintaining scalable data solutions that help our teams create meaningful experiences for customers around the world.

In the role of Data Engineer within our Global Data & Analytics organization, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will develop and optimize modern data platforms, build reliable data pipelines, and help transform complex data into valuable business insights.

The team you will be part of

You will join a collaborative and supportive team that values curiosity, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing. We work closely with colleagues across data, analytics, business, and technology functions to deliver solutions that create real business value.

Our culture is built on trust, teamwork, and a willingness to learn from one another. We encourage new ideas, support professional growth, and celebrate milestones together. As you explore new technologies, address complex challenges, or enhance current solutions, you will have teammates who are ready to help you thrive.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Build, maintain, and optimize Databricks notebooks, jobs, workflows, and data pipelines.

  • Develop scalable data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and data products.

  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality datasets.

  • Implement and improve data quality, monitoring, observability, and governance practices.

  • Contribute to data models, metadata management, and platform standards.

  • Diagnose performance issues and continually enhance pipeline efficiency and reliability.

  • Translate technical designs into implementation tasks and maintain clear documentation.

  • Support platform configuration, testing, deployment, and operational readiness.

  • Work across teams to ensure data solutions meet business and technical requirements.

  • Apply your understanding of reporting and visualization tools, including Power BI, when relevant.

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.

  • Have practical experience building and maintaining modern data platforms and pipelines.

  • Possess good SQL skills and are comfortable working with Python.

  • Understand data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.

  • Enjoy solving technical challenges and optimizing solutions for performance and scalability.

  • Have a structured approach to documentation, problem-solving, and fixing problems.

  • Value high standards for data quality, integrity, and security.

  • Communicate effectively and enjoy collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • It is beneficial to have experience working with Databricks, cloud-based data platforms, and Power BI.

Flexible working

At GN, we pride ourselves on encouraging flexible working whenever possible. We trust our people to carry out their tasks, to know when in-person collaboration is better than hybrid, and to be present when it's needed most. We believe flexibility can improve both productivity and work-life balance.

We encourage you to apply

Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we welcome your application if you believe you have transferable skills and relevant experience. We highly value a mindset and motivation that align with our core values, supporting growth for you, your team, and the wider GN organization.

We are focused on an inclusive recruitment process

All applicants will receive equal consideration for employment. As such, we encourage you to submit your CV without a photo to support an equal and fair application process.
