Software Developer Trainee (IEFP)

Join us as a Software Developer Trainee!

We are currently seeking to recruit a Software Developer Trainee to join our team in Porto. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and build skills in .NET enterprise development, WebAPI, micro-services and Azure Services within an Agile Scrum team. You will work on high-availability, multi-tier platforms, including Microsoft D365, SharePoint Online and Azure Services, using the latest .NET patterns and practices.

Key Accountabilities

As a Software Developer Trainee, you will:

• Working in a structured, managed software development lifecycle (SDLC) environment.
• Estimating the effort required to deliver requirements and stories.
• Identifying and raising risks and issues throughout the workstream lifecycle
• Prioritizing and sequencing work items.
• Collaborating with developers and business analysts to understand user and business requirements.
• Supporting the development team to keep the platform up to date and relevant
• Assisting in building test automation into the delivery process.
• Championing and promoting high-quality software delivery.
• Troubleshooting failures and working with all parties to understand the underlying root cause.
• Providing third-line application support.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

• Bachelor´s or Master´s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in client-facing projects
• Ability to work in a high-pressure industry with strict deadlines
• Flexibility and ability to work in environments with changing priorities
• Willingness to learn and a strong team player
• Fluent in English
• Eligible for an IEFP Level VI Internship
