About our tech environment

Who you'll do

You will be both a technical leader and a people manager, coaching and training your team members while building an amazing engineering organization at Doctolib. In this role, you will:

  • Lead a high performing collaborative team of 6+ members to ensure business objectives are met as a team 
  • Partner with talent & people teams to recruit, develop and retain talent
  • Build, lead, and empower a user centric team, that delivers best in class internal and external user satisfaction 
  • Together with your product partner, define a mission, vision for your team and align on a clear roadmap to make it happen. 
  • Be the end-to-end owner of the team’s production, quality, and delivery while having positive team engagement scores
  • Set standards and exceed security, reliability, performance and scalability requirements that are needed to continue to be the most trusted e-health SaaS 
  • Drive continuous process improvements for managing, documenting, staffing, and reviewing engineering projects and services
  • Participate in architecture reviews to ensure that the solution delivered by your team meets Doctolib quality standards.

Who you are

  • You have at least 8+ years of software engineering experience and 4+ years of management experience
  • You have experience scaling and leading a technical organization (5+ members), while implementing best-in-class methodologies 
  • You have strong technical skills and experience working on complex and scalable systems, especially on backend service (experience in Python is a plus)
  • You are an effective communicator with the ability to translate company goals into team objectives
  • You think critically and objectively; with a solutions oriented approach while adapting to the most efficient technologies
  • Nice to have: experience deploying LLMs in production, including prompt/context engineering and evaluation, and AI safety
