Job Description

About us: The Access4You TEC team is diverse and has extensive experience. We support our customers in various areas, from test environments to test data management and test automation. Our goal is to ensure that test platforms are available and that teams from the Workplace Experience can complete their test projects. We coordinate the creation of test data and are responsible for tracking any errors that arise during our automated E2E test.

Your tasks as a Devops engineer:
The Future CAST initiative aims to modernize the Centralized Acceptance & System Integration Test (CAST) environment by applying Infrastructure as Code and automation-first principles.
 

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure 
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform 
• Automate configuration management and application deployments using Ansible 
• Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery 
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to streamline release processes 
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and scalability 
• Implement best practices for security, cost optimization, and infrastructure governance 
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across environments 
• Document infrastructure designs, processes, and operational procedures 
• Central team contact for the specialist departments
• Carry out risk assessment, proactive coordination of communication with the specialist departments/requestors and approval
• Technical support of scrum master and product

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role 
• Hands-on expertise with Azure cloud services (compute, networking, storage, identity) 
• Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning 
• Solid knowledge of Ansible for configuration management and automation 
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) 
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, and system architecture 
• Experience with Linux-based systems 
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus) 
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows 
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills 

 
Nice to Have 

• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400) 
• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) 
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana) 
• Security and compliance experience in cloud environments 

English (level B2) is required for the advertised position, German would be nice to have.
