Microsoft 365 Systems Engineer - Messaging, Collaboration & Automation

Your Responsibilities

• Operation and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365 collaboration services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) in hybrid and cloud environments
• Handling of domain-specific incidents, service requests, and problem cases in accordance with ITIL standards
• Participation in internal and external projects to design system architectures for Microsoft 365 solutions
• Customization, optimization, and automation of existing processes, as well as documentation of systems and workflows
• Use of PowerShell to automate recurring tasks
• Execution of system maintenance activities, updates, health checks, and lifecycle management measures
• Administration and optimization of mail hygiene solutions (Exchange Online Protection, Microsoft Defender for Office 365)
• Implementation and administration of email encryption solutions (e.g., Kiteworks, SeppMail)
• Contribution to the introduction of automation solutions (e.g., Terraform, Azure Bicep) as part of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) approaches

Your Profile

• Degree in information technology or comparable professional experience
• Professional experience in Microsoft 365 Collaboration and Microsoft Exchange environments
• Solid experience with Microsoft PowerShell in hybrid environments
• Experience in email security, EOP, MDO, and collaboration services (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to troubleshooting and process optimization
• Ability to work effectively in a team, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for new technologies
• Strong communication skills for workshops, training sessions, and direct customer interaction
• Very good German and English language skills
