Proxima Fusion is Europe's fastest-growing fusion energy company, building the first generation of fusion power plants using quasi-isodynamic (QI) stellarators. Leveraging decades of research in magnetic confinement fusion and the expertise behind the record-breaking Wendelstein 7-X (W7-X) stellarator at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP), the company combines advances in stellarator optimization, computational design, and high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnet technology.
