About the Role

At ARX Robotics, we are shaping the future of autonomous ground systems. As we grow, we're looking for a leader to ensure our robotic platforms are reliable, safe, and ready for the real world.

In this role, you will be at the heart of our product development, guiding a talented cross-functional team. You'll own the entire verification, validation, and integration process for our Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs), making sure our technology performs flawlessly from the first prototype to final deployment.

What You’ll Build

  • A high-performing, multidisciplinary team focused on system integration, verification, and validation.
  • Advanced testing frameworks using Hardware-in-the-Loop, Software-in-the-Loop, and physical test environments.
  • A robust and scalable process that seamlessly transitions robotic systems from development to series production.
  • UGV systems that are fully compliant with key regulatory standards, including the Machinery Directive and CE certification.
  • An expert-level support structure to resolve complex field issues and ensure operational readiness.
  • A clear project plan to track and deliver verification and validation milestones across multiple programs.
  • A collaborative environment where your team works closely with systems, software, and manufacturing experts to achieve shared goals.

What You Bring

  • A background in technical leadership, gained in robotics, automotive, defense, or a similar high-tech industry.
  • Deep expertise in verifying and validating complex hardware and software systems.
  • Hands-on experience developing and using advanced testing environments (HIL, SIL, PIL).
  • A solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and certification processes, such as Machinery Regulation and MIL Standards.
  • The ability to lead, mentor, and manage high-performing engineering teams with clear project discipline.
  • A talent for troubleshooting, with experience in root cause analysis for issues in operational environments.
  • A clear and collaborative communication style in English (German is a plus).

Please note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply. We welcome motivated candidates who are eager to grow into the role and develop their expertise further.
