About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Sr. Engineering Manager of Safety to serve as the definitive authority on the safety, security, and resilience of our complex systems. In this senior leadership role, you will drive the development and execution of comprehensive safety engineering and cybersecurity strategies that safeguard our platforms across their entire lifecycle. Your mission is to ensure our systems operate with uncompromising safety, meet stringent regulatory requirements, and remain robust against evolving cyber threats.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to identify and mitigate safety risks and security vulnerabilities, while establishing the processes, standards, and governance needed to enable secure, resilient, and mission-critical system development.

What You’ll Build

  • Define and implement the organization’s safety strategy
  • Establish and maintain safety frameworks, policies, and processes
  • Lead hazard analyses and risk assessments for complex systems
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and certifications
  • Integrate safety-by-design and security-by-design into system architecture
  • Drive secure development practices across software and hardware teams
  • Manage safety cases, risk registers, and incident response processes
  • Build and lead a high-performing safety team while fostering a strong safety culture

What You Bring

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in safety engineering or risk management
  • Experience with safety-critical or mission-critical systems
  • Knowledge of relevant safety and cybersecurity standards and frameworks
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skill
