ISM Software Architect

You’ll work alongside people who take ownership, collaborate across functions, and contribute to systems that keep cities moving every day.    

Your role, your impact

 

• Contribute to ISM specifications and architecture with Program Development Managers, Design Authority, and System Engineers
• Define software requirements, including functional, operational, interface, performance, safety, and cybersecurity aspects
• Ensure requirements are testable and traceable across the development lifecycle
• Design software architecture, components, interfaces, and dynamic system behaviour
• Validate technical solutions through simulations and prototypes
• Lead technical decisions: tools, methodologies (e.g., UML), languages, coding standards
• Support integration (software/software and hardware/software) and verification activities
• Contribute to system validation, testing, and long-term maintenance
• Monitor technology evolution and promote reusable solutions and standardization
• Ensure application of internal processes and contribute to continuous improvement     You’ll work with multidisciplinary, international teams across engineering and product development - solving complex challenges in rail security and digital systems.    

What you bring

 

• Engineering degree
• Strong programming experience in C# .NET
• Knowledge of security systems (CCTV, streaming protocols, SIP, VoIP, Public Address, etc.)
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Ability to collaborate with distributed and cross-functional teams
• Agile mindset with international orientation
