Job Description:

 Head of Structure Design & integration Engineer Senior  – Airbus Commercial Engineering Center

As part of Airbus’s ambition to grow a proficient and competitive Engineering organisation, we are launching a Commercial Aircraft Engineering Centre in Poland. This initiative aims to leverage Poland’s talent pool and technological ecosystem, specifically in the field of Propulsion systems, while supporting our broader Engineering workload and competitiveness requirements, and reinforcing Airbus’ strategic engagement with Poland. 

Role Overview

Join Airbus Poland Engineering center, as the Manager of the “Structure design & Integration Engineer” team, responsible for the team designing Nacelle and Pylon Airframe products and propulsion system physical integration. 

You will lead and develop a team composed of around 10 Engineers in charge of contributing to Airbus proprietary products design such as air inlet or Pylon design ; Specifying, guiding, and validating supplier Nacelle components ; Physically integrating all major propulsion system components. 

In this frame, the propulsion engineering domain needs you to improve and develop our products as well as our dynamic design structure community !

Key Responsibilities

1. Define Team strategy and objectives

  • Align team goals with Airbus Poland Engineering center strategy, Propulsion Engineering center needs and Customer expectations

  • Foster collaboration with all stakeholders, and clarify roles and responsibilities 

2. Support & Engage People

  • Guide and support the team members in their daily job, by providing technical advice, coaching and mentoring 

  • Promote well-being, Airbus Values, empowerment, and collaboration while aligning objectives with personal development.

  • Foster a motivating, inclusive environment where transparency, feedback, and lessons learned are valued.

3. Develop Team Capabilities

  • Manage resources, competences, Processes, methods and tools.

  • Define upskilling plan and trainings for the team, with the support of Propulsion Engineering Center

  • Drive recruitment, resource adaptation, and knowledge management.

4. Ensure Delivery

  • Ensure Team deliveries on Time, Cost, Quality and Performance

The Ideal Profile

Education & Experience

  • Education:.Engineering Degree in Mechanical/System Engineering or related discipline

  • Aeronautics context and certification framework (CS-25) knowledge would be a plus

  • Experience: ~10 years in Mechanical design or System Integration

  • English: Negotiation level
