We build powerful software frameworks to orchestrate complex robotic systems and solve challenging tasks. The solutions are sold to various international customers to enable them to control their robotic work cells. Smooth integration and scalable deployment are key goals. Your Responsibilities Work on-site at our headquarters in Munich to develop and maintain our robotic programming platform, Agile Core Maintain and improve the cross-platform build system architecture using modern CMake Implement and manage a build system and caching mechanisms to reduce compilation times Maintain and improve automated build, test, and release pipelines (GitLab CI), integrating automated testing and static analysis tools Maintain Conan storage for internal and third-party C++ dependencies Act as the primary point of contact for build failures, linker errors, and environment configuration issues, creating tooling to improve the DevEx Ensure builds are reproducible, stable, and optimized on Linux, Arm64, and Windows Maintain and upgrade compiler toolchains (MSVC, GCC, Clang) across multiple target platforms Essential Skills 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Build Engineering, or Software Engineering role with a strong focus on large C++ codebases Based in Munich or open to relocation Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Flexibility and willingness to travel A solid understanding of how binaries, linking, and debugging work on multiple platforms Experience with CMake and compiler toolchains: GCC, Clang, and MSVC Experience with Git and managing CI/CD workflows (GitLab CI) Experience with Conan packaging, distribution, and recipes Experience with containerization (Docker) to create reproducible build environments Comfort with scripting languages (like Python, Bash, and PowerShell) for automation Beneficial Skills Prior experience working on compilers, debuggers, or developer tools You are leveraging AI assistance, skillful in prompting and verifying Agents tools such as CCache with build caching tools such as CCache Knowledge of advanced compiler features like Link-Time Optimization (LTO), static analysis tools (clang-tidy), and sanitizers (UBSan, TSan, etc.) Experience with Unity Builds Experience with writing build tools with CMake (cmake-file-api) Experience in the industry automation and robotics domain What we offer A dynamic high-tech company, combined with financial soundness and world-class investors Join an interdisciplinary, international team with 60+ different nationalities in a collaborative work environment Lots of development opportunities in the context of our continued growth Challenging tasks and impactful projects alongside experts that enable professional and personal growth Corporate Benefits Program that covers health, mobility, and learning with 100€ net per month Modern office facilities with a rooftop terrace overlooking Munich, free drinks & fruits, and regular company events contribute to a good working environment About us Agile Robots SE is an international high-tech company based in Munich, Germany with a production site in Kaufbeuren and more than 2300 employees worldwide.
