About The Team

We're looking for a Front End Engineer to contribute to and enhance our technical documentation platform for Adyen's customers and partners. You’ll be part of our Developer Experience (DevX) group, and you'll collaborate with internal teams and external developers building on our platform daily.

In this role, you'll play a vital part in implementing Adyen's Developer Experience strategy. Your goal is to help ensure developers have clear, user-friendly, highly interactive and accurate resources for building on Adyen.

What You’ll Do

• Own the full lifecycle of development of our documentation platform. from communicating with cross-functional stakeholders (product owners, product designers, account managers, merchants, e.g.)to testing, iterating and monitoring the impact of your projects.
• You’ll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify pain points and surface actionable insights for areas of technical improvements.
• You’ll be evaluating and integrating new technologies to enhance the documentation platform including exploring and implementing AI solutions
• You’ll collaborate with teams to shape features based on real developer needs, ensuring technical requirements are considered from the outset.
• Embed operational excellence across software delivery lifecycles by maintaining and enhancing frontend deployment pipelines and automated tools.

Who You Are

•  You’re a Software Engineer with 4 or more years of experience in JavaScript and TypeScript. Deep familiarity with modern frameworks specifically Vue.js and Nuxt 3—is a significant plus.
• You have a solid technical foundation and deep empathy for the developer persona. You have experience building or supporting dev tools, APIs, or SDKs, maintaining modern CI/CD pipelines (experience with Kubernetes is a plus) and are familiar with Docs-as-Code principles.
• You’re an effective communicator, able to translate complex technical information into clear frontend architecture, and advocate for user needs in cross-functional environments 
• You independently gather technical requirements, create execution plans, and thrive when stepping outside predefined boundaries to deliver impact in ambiguous environments.
• You have a strong interest or experience in leveraging AI tools to improve user experience and content discovery.
