At Corporate Technology Center in Kraków we create innovative solutions, implemented in ABB products and systems. It is a unique opportunity for you to join interdisciplinary scientific teams and international projects where expertise, curiosity and innovation are valued.

About the Internship:

  • Start date: as soon as possible (preferably 15th July 2026)
  • Hybrid work model (1 day onsite, 4 days HO per week)
  • We expect availability of 30h per week

Your responsibilities:

  • Independently designing and developing embedded software for microcontroller-based devices used in building automation systems, such as air-conditioning remote controllers
  • Performing reverse engineering of devices and communication protocols to understand their operation and implement embedded software solutions
  • Managing the software lifecycle using Git and DevOps practices, including software releases, deployment, and version control
  • Testing and validating software on real hardware in a Smart Building environment while collaborating with system integrators, project managers, and cross-functional teams

Requirements: 

  • Preferable a student in the 2nd – 3rd year in the field of Information Technologies, Electronics, Telecommunications, Automation and Robotics or similar
  • Ability to write C code and program microcontrollers and microprocessors
  • Good spoken and written English level
