Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and deployment of AI-powered applications & includes designing and building AI interfaces, services, constructing AI-enabled infrastructure, and evaluating AI systems. Machine Learning Engineer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to incorporate AI capabilities into a wide range of products and services. The work model for the role is #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the IS Services . You will be mainly accountable for: - Running E2E development cycle of AI solutions based on the business requirements - Following best software development practices to ensure high quality product and adherence to design objectives - Evangelizing ABB and internal team on potential opportunities in AI - Collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, service owners to build products end-to-end on key initiatives
Qualifications for the role
- - Master's Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computational or Applied Mathematics, or related areas with Artificial Intelligence specialty
- - Strong communication skills with proficiency in English
- - 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML environments
- - Track record of successful enterprise-level AI deployments: AI Application Development and Deployment/Scaling. Prompt engineering, Context construction. Nice to have: - -
- - Inference optimization, Dataset engineering, Compute management, Data management
- - Strong experience with AI infrastructure, including cloud platforms (Azure (must have), AWS/GCP optional) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Azure AI Studio/Foundry/OpenAI, Hugging Face, .NET Framework, API Management & Azure infrastructure
- - Strategic thinking and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- - Experience with SQL, MS Fabric, Databricks
- - Experience in AI evaluation/responsible AI practices
