Your role and responsibilities

Design authority for engineering disciplines related to complete assignments to support local units on tenders, projects or portions projects in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute our global engineering function, providing technical support across Engineering Units within Sales and Solutions Global Solutions Centers.

You will be the focal design authority for engineering disciplines related to complete assignments with the aim to support local units on tenders, projects or portions of projects in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. 

The work model for the role is: #hybrid, #Li-Hybrid

Position location: EMEA

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions Business Division.  

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Provides technical support for design activities, preparation of technical documentation, testing, installation, and commissioning procedures.
  • Supports local units in the preparation of tender and project documentation within the assigned scope of work.
  • Actively participates in project and tendering meetings, resolving technical issues to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Assists in the preparation of engineering project proposals, presentations, and planning activities.
  • Performs design verification using applicable standards, engineering guidelines, and checklists while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and contractual requirements.
  • Shares best practices and Lessons Learned documentation across projects and disciplines, while identifying process and tool improvement opportunities.
  • Supports technical risk assessments and reports contract, safety, quality, schedule, or cost-related issues to Project Manager(s) for resolution.
  • Collaborates with Supply Chain, factories, and local units to ensure technical solutions are properly manufactured, staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.
  • Supports updates of engineering deliverables after installation and commissioning and shares lessons learned within the global team for future implementation.

Qualifications for the role

  • You are highly skilled in MV/LV systems, Protection & Control, Automation, Auxiliary Systems, eHouse and mobile solutions, with strong understanding of the EPC engineering environment and switchgear engineering processes.
  • You have established experience in Data Center applications, particularly within Hyperscale and Colocation environments.
  • Possess enhanced knowledge of commissioning activities and quality procedures related to FAT and SAT processes.
  • You are passionate about effective communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration across regions and organizational levels.
  • Have demonstrated experience working with engineering projects involving power distribution, automation systems, and switchgear solutions.
